Shooting on the Move

This class is all about shooting on the move and engaging targets while moving forward, backward, and at various angles. Manipulation of your weapon (i.e. malfunctions-clearing and speed loads) on-the-move. Target engagement while moving at a run or sprint pace and then quickly deescalating to a walk pace. The main emphasis while shooting on the move is on “fast manipulation, slow marksmanship”. This class will address balancing speed with accuracy while operating their handgun. This class focuses on gun handling skills, presentation, speed loads, clearing malfunction and manipulation of handgun while on the move. Shooting while Wounded This class is designed to train the shooter on how to continue to fight even if wounded. Have you ever put any thought into how you would continue to fight with one of your arms injured. How would you draw your weapon, reload, or clear a malfunction if you’re hurt. Most violent encounters result in you being injured, knocked to the ground, or wounded which may result in you having to perform a reload or clear a malfunction with only one hand. This class will provide valuable information to the shooter on how to continue the fight.

Prerequisites: Basic pistol, LE or Military

Required Equipment:

• Handgun
• 2 magazines (3 or more recommended)
• Holster & magazine pouch
• 250 rounds of ammunition
• Ear/Eye protection
